Blue 1930's Shoes

I just got these cute vintage shoes from the 1930's! They're more of a casual 30's shoe, and are great for everyday use. I was hoping I could find some in black as it's the color that goes with everything, but I wasn't going to pass them up just because they were blue. It's hard enough to find shoes this old that I can fit my feet into!

1970's Shoes

Got a whole bunch of really cute 70's shoes this past weekend! Most of them have never been worn either. I got them from this lady who was selling all her mothers vintage clothing & shoes. She must have been a shoe hoarder, because there were hundreds of pairs of brand new vintage shoes all in their boxes. They took up a whole bedroom!

My New Vintage Shoes!

Check out these beauties! 1940's strappy black suede wedges with cute flower details. I've been trying to find some wedge 1940's shoes forever! The insides are a little worn, but the suede is perfect. I also got the original box and receipt! :)

Vintage Christmas Browsing

On Ebay that is. I decided to browse today, as I've done more than enough real shopping in the last few days! Though thats never stopped me before....hmmm, I may have to put a bid on that purse. Anyways, I tried to find some good holiday looking items. I found a beautiful red velvet 1950's dress, a vintage lucite bracelet, a 50's lucite purse and of course some gorgeous red vintage shoes!

Antique Shopping Trip

Well, I picked up quite a few vintage goodies over the last week! I visited a ton of antique malls on Vancouver Island and saw some amazing items. My favorite would have to be a 1920's stove for $150! Obviously there was a big "SOLD" sign on it.
Anyhow, I posted a few pictures of my purchases.
First is a pair of gorgeous 1950's vintage shoes. They are covered in rhinestones and have lucite heels! The best part though, is they're a size 8 and fit me perfectly!
Next I found the cutest 1950's lamp. It has a green shade, a frame with a leaf design, and comes with a removable ashtray!
The last photo is of my prized art deco purse. It's a good size with 3 pockets inside, and has a beautiful lucite clasp.
I don't even have a photo of my favorite purchase though! It's a silver cracked ice 1950's arborite tea cart. So unique! I also picked up a classy looking 1940's black velvet hat.
I think it was my most successful vintage shopping trip yet!

Oh My Vintage Shoes

Check out these beauties I just got! The first pair are satin 1940's shoes, or could be very early 1950's as well. Apparently they're boudoir slippers, but theres no way I'm gonna keep these in the house! The second ones are 1930's shoes, and luckily they're in excellent condition for their age :)

Vintage Flapper Shoes

Alright, so I'm on a mission for a full vintage flapper outfit. So far I bought these sparkling 1920's vintage shoes. I lucked out for sure. They're worn, but overall in great condition for their age, and they fit me perfectly! Finding a 1920's dress has not been as easy though. At least finding one for an affordable price, that isnt full of holes. Oh well, I'll keep searching in the vintage clothing stores, my dress is out there somewhere!

Vintage Champaign

Ladies, sorry for the lack of posts and sudden changes. My blog template suddenly dissappeared on me, so I had to scramble to put something together. I should just create my own blog template, but that would take time away from my vintage clothes shopping. You know how it is. Anyhow, the theme of this post is Champaign, color that is. First of all, we know you can never have too many pairs of vintage shoes. So here is yet another pair I just ordered off Ebay. I would say they're around 1940's to 1950's, and they even come with the original box!
Next is this magnificent vintage gown that was a few hundred dollars too much for me this week. Isn't the back of it gorgeous? I've never seen anything quite like it. Wow.

Gorgeous Vintage Heels

I won these beautiful vintage shoes on Ebay this morning. I thought they were 1940's, but the listing said 1930's. Either way they're gorgeous. The material on the outside is this textured floral fabric. Oooh, can't wait to get them! Lets just hope they fit!

Vintage Lucite Heels

Oooh, I love these dainty 1950's shoes. Unfortunately they're a tiny size 6, so I can't get them. Check out the beautiful details. The gold lucite heels have a pattern of leaves carved into the back, and cute little rhinestones on the front.

Drop Dead Gorgeous Vintage Shoes

I just got these vintage heels! And with their original box too! I'm so excited. They're supposed to be slippers, but as if I'm not going to show these off. They look around 40's/50's. They should go well with my matching gloves and vintage 40's black dress.

Sparkling Vintage Shoes

Lucked out with these 1970's wedges. Not only did I find silver ones, but I found the exact same pair in gold! One set I found at a vintage clothing store, and the other at a thrift shop! So weird! And they're both in amazing condition. Crazy shoes.
