Happy Birthday Esther Williams
Esther Williams turns 90 today. Wow, if you ever feel like looking at a ton of 1940's swimsuits, just type "Esther Williams" into Google! She was not only a beautiful actress but a swimming champion as well. Did you know Esther still sells her own line of bathing suits and swimming pools? I usually only buy vintage swimsuits, but I would love to have a new swimsuit if it was designed by Esther Williams. I wonder what she'll be doing for her birthday today...Monday, August 01, 2011
More 1940's Swimsuits
I found this pic of vintage bathing suits from a 1940's catalog. Aren't they all gorgeous?! I think my favorite has to be the turquoise swimsuit with the midriff cutout on the top right. So pretty.
