Vintage Wedding Gown

I'm getting married in February, so I'm trying to decide which decade of dress I'm gonna go with. My choices are a short flapper style 1920's dress, or a slinky satin bais cut 1930's dress. I posted pictures of 2 similar dresses. Two totally different looks! I can't decide! I love them both! I suppose whichever one fits me better closer to the date :)

Congratulations! I'd go with the 30's look myself, but that's just me.

Wow, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I'd love to get married in vintage, and I would definitely go for a floor-length dress, so I'm tending towards the one pictured above...

Congrats! I wanted to get married on February too because of the sunny winter days. But we cancelled it, twice. I guess I'm just not a big wedding person. But I like other people's weddings!

Thanks for the congrats! I'm leaning towards the 30's gown, but it's super tiny, so we'll see if it fits by then! We're gonna have a really small wedding so I don't think we'll have a theme other than me being vintage. It's going to be in a beautiful lodge on Vancouver Island, so it should be nice and cozy!

Oh, congratulations! I hope you'll share a pic of whatever dress you do decide on. If I looked anything like Jean Harlow--that would be the gown!

Congratulations! My sister wore a bias cut heavy silk charmeuse gown for her wedding and she looked stunning. She had it custom made in the style of the 1930's.

Ohhh I don't envy the difficult choice you will need to make as both are absolutely gorgeous!! I'm sure you will look stunning in whatever gown you choose:-)

I wore a reconstructed(by me) gown from the 70's. It was pretty fab! Of course I totally agree with you that you should wear vintage tough choice between the 2 decades,I think I might go with flapper!

Well, congratulations! I'd probably go with a 20s dress, but that's just because I love that era so much. I was married in a 1970s Gunne Sax, but then I was married in 1977!
