Vintage 50's Prom Queen

I can dream, can't I? Another dream would be that this dress wouldn't have a huge rip in it! But only I have to know that, because I covered it up with a flower!
It works pretty good doesn't it? For $6, I figured it was worth the try. Another idea I had would be to remove the top layer of tulle/netting over the bodice. Then it would just become a strapless gown, which would be nice except that the layer underneath is a little faded...I think I'll leave it for now. More clothing pictures to come!

Sparkling Vintage Shoes

Lucked out with these 1970's wedges. Not only did I find silver ones, but I found the exact same pair in gold! One set I found at a vintage clothing store, and the other at a thrift shop! So weird! And they're both in amazing condition. Crazy shoes.

Ebay Vintage Item of the Day

Gorgeous vintage 1930's dressing gown/robe. Even better because I won it! Finally. All the clothes I've bid on in the last couple weeks I've been outbid, but this one is all mine. The mannequin is kinda creepy, but it didn't scare me away. This is my oldest item now. Yay!

Vintage Clothing to Die For

Feast your eyes on this 1950's bombshell. I bought this gown a little while ago at a local vintage store for under $50, and it's perfect! No, it doesn't fit me, but I have tiny friends who can model it. I swear I've never found a dress so beautiful and in such great condition. I will probably sell it, but I don't want to! I want to display it on my wall, haha.

Sparkling 60's Vintage Purse

Picked this little purse up at a cheap vintage shop last weekend.
Looks sixties.
I love sparkly accessories...
I could never say no...
Then I found a silver box shaped one, and a clutch covered in fake pearls!
Ooh, and I also got a really cool hat box that's like a mini suitcase!
So now I have something to carry them around in.

Vintage Starlet of the Day

Betty Grable. What a doll. You gotta love the 1940's 2 piece bathing suit. It's easy to see why Betty was the favorite pin-up girl of WWII. She's absolutely adorable. Did you know soldiers actually painted pictures of her on the noses of their bombers? Now that's fan dedication.
